/ WHAT IS DYSPORT®?
DYSPORT® is a natural-looking, fast-acting, long-lasting prescription injection proven to help smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows—without changing the look or movement to the rest of your face.

HOW IS DYSPORT® DIFFERENT FROM BOTOX®?

DYSPORT® and BOTOX® are both Botulinum Toxin Type-A, but are made by different companies. BOTOX® has been available longer, but DYSPORT® is also now FDA approved and has been found to be as safe and effective as BOTOX®.

Although DYSPORT®, like BOTOX®, is made from Botulinum Toxin Type-A, they differ by the number of proteins that surround the active molecules. Due to DYSPORT® having less protein than BOTOX® means that this injectable spreads over a wide range. This allows for quicker absorption and less needle sticks.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED WITH DYSPORT®?

DYSPORT® is approved to treat the “elevens”, or frown lines between the eyebrows. Also called glabellar lines, the muscles between the eyebrows can be relaxed using DYSPORT® in order to decrease the appearance of lines and creases between the eyebrows.

/ WHAT IS JEUVEAU®?

You know those pesky little wrinkles between your eyebrows that won’t go away? Well, they’re called glabellar lines, or “frown lines.” Modern-made using Hi-Pure™ technology, JEUVEAU® is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used in adults for a short period of time (temporary) to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines).

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JEUVEAU® AND
BOTOX®?

Being derived from the same protein, JEUVEAU® is nearly the same as BOTOX®. Each works on the same principle of blocking nerve transmissions into the muscles to smooth creases on the face. The onset of results is very similar, as is the longevity of smoothness.

While JEUVEAU® is the “NewTox” compared to well-known BOTOX®, this new drug is expected to establish strong loyalty among providers and consumers due to its price point. In addition, to cost-effectiveness, JEUVEAU® also performed very well in clinical trials. So, while not yet the household name that BOTOX® is, JEUVEAU® is quickly proving itself in clinical practice.

/ WHAT IS XEOMIN®?
Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA) is a prescription medication injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults. Xeomin® contains botulinum toxin type A, a protein purified from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.
XEOMIN® can effectively treat dynamic wrinkles:
Frown Lines
Forehead Creases
Crow’s Feet

HOW DOES XEOMIN® WORK?

When you squint or frown, the muscles between your eyebrows contract, causing the skin to furrow and fold. Over time, as your skin ages and loses some of its elasticity, these repeated contractions can cause persistent frown lines. Botulinum toxin type A (the active ingredient in Xeomin®) acts on nerve endings in muscles to prevent muscle fibers from contracting. By reducing these contractions, Xeomin® can temporarily reduce the lines between your eyebrows.

/ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT DYSPORT®

HOW DOES DYSPORT® WORK?

1 injection. 5 points.

DYSPORT® temporarily treats moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows by reducing specific muscle activity. Wrinkles are caused by repeated movements and muscle contractions. 1 injection into each of the 5 points between and above the eyebrows temporarily prevents muscle contractions that cause frown lines.

DYSPORT® is an injectable-neuromodulator, which means it works by temporarily blocking the nerve impulses of the target muscle.

HOW SOON WILL I SEE RESULTS?
